We are delighted to announce that actress Joanna Lumley OBE has joined our campaign. She writes:
“There are some causes to which I have no hesitation in giving my full support. The fight to save the iconic studios where I have spent so many happy years working has my backing. I think it would be absolutely fabulous if Stanhope PLC and the BBC were to change their minds and keep Television Centre studios.”

I find it mad that the BBC can be so damn short sighted, we need production space around the London Area. The hospital club is to small for watchdog for example. The studios at NBH for me are over crowded, we need to keep at least TC1-2-3-4-8 maybe even TC7 ! TC10 is of no use to anyone really. If the BBC don’t want the studios have Stanhope PLC asked Sky? ITV? and others? the rent they could make from keeping the studio space would outweigh any hotel or bar.! The Centre is far from worn out its a centre of great production and long may it live! I back saving TVC 110%
